Maddie and Eric’s winter wedding felt like stepping into another world. The Sculpture Garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art was completely transformed, with layers of greenery and flowers hanging overhead, candlelight everywhere, and the most beautiful little touches of blue woven throughout. And somehow, even with a setting this incredible, the day still felt really personal. Their baby girl was there for all of it, tucked into Maddie’s arms while she got ready and woven into so many of the sweetest moments of the day. Then the sun went down and this elegant garden wedding turned into a party. A second line, Mardi Gras Indians, a packed dance floor, and the kind of energy you could feel from across the room. Beautiful, personal, wildly fun, and so very New Orleans.
