Skylar and Cam’s wedding is one I don’t think I’ll ever forget. A late spring garden ceremony beneath the oaks at the New Orleans Museum of Art, the prettiest soft blues and garden florals, and guests who absolutely understood the assignment. Everything was beautiful, but this day had energy. The Mixed Nuts kept the entire room alive, and then Lexi Lawson from Hamilton showed up to perform during the reception, which was just unreal. I loved watching Skylar and Cam take it all in, from the sweetness of their ceremony to a reception that felt like one big, incredible celebration. It was elegant and colorful and a little over the top in the very best way. Truly one of those weddings where I kept thinking, “I can’t believe I get to photograph this.”
